LOUSADZAK PREMIERED IN ARMENIA

Lousadzak, one of the most significant benchmark works of Alan Hovhaness, was given its Armenian premiere performance by Martin Berkofsky, pianist, and the Alan Hovhaness Chamber Orchestra.

Soloists soprano Seda Odabashyan and violoncellist Medea Abrahamian were also featured in this celebration of the 20th anniversary of the orchestra.

The concert, which concluded with Alan Hovhaness' Psalm and Fugue, took place on 30 November, 2004, at Komitas Chamber Music Hall, Yerevan.
