ALAN HOVHANESS CONCERTO TO RECIEVE TURKISH PREMIERE PERFORMANCE:
The Orchestra Academic Baskent, Ankara Turkey, under the direction of Maestro Ertug Korkmaz, will present the Turkish premiere performance of Lousadzak, ("Coming of Light,") Alan Hovhaness' landmark concerto for piano and strings. Piano soloist will be Martin Berkofsky who recently gave the Armenian premiere performance of Lousadzak with the Alan Hovhaness Chamber Orchestra of Armenia.
The concert will take place on 22 June, 2005
